New Delhi has appointed a seasoned diplomat to lead its diplomatic mission in Moscow. Vinay Kumar, 54, arrived in the Russian capital on April 12th to begin his tenure as India’s Ambassador to Russia.
Kumar is no stranger to the world of diplomacy. He previously served as India’s Ambassador to Myanmar, bringing a wealth of experience to the crucial India-Russia relationship. Upon his arrival, Kumar was met by officials from both the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Indian embassy, led by Deputy Head of Mission Gina Uika.
