President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has arrived Saudi Arabia ahead of the Arab League Summit. President El-Sisi will participate in the Summit alongside other Arab leaders. The Summit which is in its 32nd session is set to take place in Jeddah.
Today, the Egyptian delegation led by the President landed in Jeddah for the Summit designed to provide stronger benefits for the Arab people.
The participation of Egypt at the Summit is a reflection of its long-time connections and relationship with other Arab States. These relationship has proven to be beneficial to the Egyptian economy and its political scene.
President El-Sisi participation at the Arab League Summit will renew the country’s keenness to strengthen existing relations with other Arab States, says the Presidency Spokesman, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy.
In previous sessions of the Summit, Egypt had made progressive contributions, many of which are evident in the country’s growth system.
Counselor Fahmy stressed that Egypt, being a strong member of the Arab League, is concerned about developing and strenghtening ties with other States.
Egypt’s economy has the third largest population in Africa, behind Nigeria and Ethiopia. Despite the rising population, Egypt has continued to embark on partnership deals to strengthen the country’s business patterns and develop all sectors of the economy.
Not leaving behind other factors, Egypt’s interest in building ties with other Arab States is part of its role in strengthening efforts to advance unity.
The Spokesman of the Egypt Presidency maintained that the country is building mechanisms of joint action which will be beneficial to all Arab States.
Arab League Summit is aimed at promoting consultation and coordination among the Arab States. The Summit will also play a significant role in preserving the security and stability of the Arab regionsq in addition to promoting its interest and addressing recent successive changes and crises at international and regional levels.
