MOSCOW, October 20 – Russia has called on countries providing aid to Ukraine to cease their support and engage in negotiations that take into account the current realities on the ground, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov stressed the importance of immediately halting the provision of assistance to the Kiev regime and initiating negotiations that reflect the realities on the ground, as well as the core interests of the Russian Federation, which were outlined at the outset of the special military operation.
The Foreign Minister also dismissed the US shipment of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine as futile attempts that will only prolong the suffering of the Kiev regime. He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken extensively about the futility of such attempts, which will only serve to prolong the agony of the regime, despite the West’s efforts to keep it afloat at all costs.
Last Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Ukrainian forces are using ATACMS missiles. The White House announced on the same day that the US administration had delivered ATACMS missiles with a range of 165 kilometers to Kiev.
