Afreximbank and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Egypt hosted a high-level dinner yesterday at the Royal Maxim Kempinski Hotel in New Cairo, Egypt, in the lead-up to the 3rd edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023).
Attendees at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023) High-Level Dinner included the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, former presidents of Burundi, the Central African Republic, and Uganda, as well as the Executive Vice President of Afreximbank and the Chairperson of the Egypt Expo and Convention Authority.
The dinner provided an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the importance of intra-African trade and the role that IATF 2023 can play in boosting trade and investment within the continent.
IATF 2023 is expected to attract over 70,000 participants from across Africa and the world. The event will showcase a wide range of products and services from African businesses and will provide a platform for businesses to connect with potential buyers and investors.
The fair is expected to generate billions of dollars in trade and investment deals and to contribute to the African Union’s Agenda 2063, which aims to create a prosperous and integrated Africa.
