The Honorable Musalia W Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary of the Republic of Kenya, on November 5, 2023, received His Excellency Professor Petr Fiala, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, who arrived in the country for a three-day official visit.
During his visit, the Czech Prime Minister will engage in discussions with senior government officials and key members of the trade and business industry. He will also explore various places of historical, environmental, and cultural significance. A highlight of his visit will be the bilateral talks with His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto at Statehouse, Nairobi.
In addition to receiving the Czech Prime Minister, Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi also hosted a diplomatic luncheon for esteemed heads of foreign missions in Kenya on November 6, 2023. This momentous occasion marked his inaugural meeting with members of the diplomatic corps.

In his remarks at the luncheon, Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi emphasized Kenya’s commitment to utilizing established structures to foster constructive dialogues with its foreign missions. He also expressed his pride in Kenya’s missions and agencies, and his excitement to work with them in aligning their policies with the Kenya Kwanza’s transformative Bottom-Up agenda.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi also reiterated Kenya’s commitment to promoting constructive multilateralism in order to ensure and safeguard a fair and equitable international order, promote respect for international law, and champion the adherence to the U.N. Charter, as the best way to address difficult and challenging global issues.
