Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Lesotho Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, HE Ntsiuoa SEKETE, has paid a courtesy call on the AUC Deputy Chairperson (DCP), Dr. Monique NSANZABAGAWNA.
During the meeting, Ambassador SEKETE pledged Lesotho’s support to the African Union Commission (AUC) and its developmental programs. She also emphasized Lesotho’s keen interest in the deployment of its professional and well-credentialed human resources in the structures of the African Union.
The AUC is currently involved in a skills audit and competency assessment (SACA), as well as the implementation of its reforms agenda and Agenda 2063.
Dr. NSANZABAGAWNA welcomed Ambassador SEKETE’s pledge of support and expressed her appreciation for Lesotho’s interest in contributing to the AU’s workforce. She noted that the AUC is committed to ensuring that its workforce is representative of all African member states and that it has the skills and expertise necessary to implement its ambitious agenda.
