State Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ambassador Mesganu Arga met with Mr. Mian Atif Sharif, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ethiopia, today to discuss ways to further strengthen the long-standing relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mesganu emphasized the need to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, aviation, and cultural and technical assistance. He highlighted Ethiopia’s favorable investment climate and invited Pakistani businesses to explore opportunities in the country’s agriculture, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and construction sectors.
Ambassador Mian Atif reciprocated the positive sentiments, expressing Pakistan’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations with Ethiopia. He acknowledged Ethiopia’s vast investment potential and expressed confidence in the prospects of increased Pakistani investment in the country.
The two sides agreed to continue exploring avenues for collaboration and to work together to elevate their strategic partnership to new heights.
