New Dawn For Tourism In Ghana As GEK Media Communication Debuts With TV Series, The Lost Staff “Legend of the Missing Chest”

Indeed, it’s a new dawn for tourism in the West African country, Ghana, thus, Africa at large, as GEK Media Communication is set to debut its reality television series, The Lost Staff “Legend of the Missing Chest.”

This is even as the tv series title was created using a tourism marketing initiative referred to as Adventure Ghana.

The TV concept, created to promote and expand marketing options for tourism is expected to have a direct impact on the socio-economic development of all ten regions of Ghana.

President Ramaphosa to attend President-elect Tinubu’s inauguration in Nigeria

The reality TV show has been scheduled to be produced across the Ghanaian regions with ten contestants selected from each region.

Winners of the regional contests will automatically qualify for the national contest.

The winner of the national contest will go home with a car and a cash prize of GH¢ 5,000 as ultimate prize.

In order to make the contest more competitive, the show’s Executive Producer, Mr. George Kwame Egeh, said regional participants shall also get participating fees win or lose while the regional winners will get cash prizes and other valuable gift items.

According to Egeh, the objective of the company is to find creative ways of projecting and promoting Ghana’s heritage and tourism attractions.

He also added that the company’s quest includes a strategic plan to project and promote new tourism discoveries and attract investment opportunities to Africa.

He emphasized that festivals should be used to project tourism, even as he urged organisers of festivals to look for creative ways of adding tourism marketing activities during the planning for festivals, saying this would attract people from different parts the world to Africa.

Mr. George Kwame Egeh second left at the presentation of the TV concept to Togbe Afede XIV paramount ruler of Asogli state in the Volta Region.

Egeh said: “Africa has a lot of tourism potentials. My team and I are set to influence and affect communities and lives in Ghana and Africa by adopting creative ideas and strategies to deliver marketing initiatives that will provide sustainable income and improve livelihood for people across Africa.

“The national winner will embark on diplomatic international missions working through the ministry of foreign affairs to promote tourism using tourism exhibitions to attract foreign tourists and investment to Ghana.”
