DAY
International Museum Day (IMD) is an annual celebration that takes place on May 18th each year. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of museums and the critical role it plays in the preservation of cultural heritage, promoting education, and fostering intercultural dialogue. It was first established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) in 1977 and has since become a global event celebrated by museums and cultural institutions worldwide.
