Hon. Dzifa Abla Gomashie, Ghana’s Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, took part in the Ghana Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., held on Thursday, shared in a video address about Ghana’s growing tourism landscape and the role partners can play in shaping its next phase of growth.
She introduced herself not only as Minister, but also as a Member of Parliament for Ketu South, bringing a depth shaped by public service, cultural advocacy and long engagement with Ghana’s creative community. Her background gives weight to her focus on tourism as both an economic driver and a cultural asset.
She invited investors to consider opportunities in areas such as hospitality development, conference and event facilities, heritage sites, cultural infrastructure and training institutions that strengthen industry capacity. “I invite you to invest in Ghana’s tourism, culture and creative arts ecosystem, including hotels, conference centres, heritage assets, capacity-building institutions and more,” she said.

Her speech included reassurance that the government intends to support credible partners. “We will work with you on flexible terms that make it feasible to invest and grow your business,” she said, adding that Ghana’s diplomatic missions remain available to assist those who decide to take the next step.
She also spoke directly about Ghana’s appeal as a destination and the need to build capacity across the tourism value chain. “Visit Ghana! Enjoy the sunshine, the rhythm and the experience,” she said, adding that the sector offers room for growth for serious partners looking at the long term.
She ended with a confident invitation: “See you in Ghana,” a closing that signaled expectation rather than formality.
