Abuja, Nigeria – The Spanish Embassy in Nigeria is partnering with Cómo ser fotógrafa (How to be a Photographer), a Spanish women photographers’ platform, to present the upcoming photo exhibition “A Visual Diary Through Still Life Photography,”  scheduled for Monday, May 27, 2024 at the Thought Pyramid Art Centre – 18, Libreville Cr., Wuse II, Abuja at 6:00Pm.

The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons and The Skilled Women Initiative are joining forces to co-organize the event.

This exhibition will showcase the work of young women from the Abuja IDP camps who participated in the Embassy’s 3rd photography workshop. The trainings aim to empower young women by equipping them with artistic tools for self-expression and photography skills to boost employability, while recognizing them as agents of change and empowering them to fight inequality.
