ACCRA, Ghana – Kenya and Ghana pledged to strengthen their bilateral relations during the second session of the Kenya-Ghana Joint Permanent Commission for Cooperation (JPCC) held today.
Kenyan Foreign Minister Musalia Mudavadi reaffirmed his country’s commitment to deepening ties with Ghana, emphasizing the alignment with the African Union’s Common Agenda for continental development.
“The JPCC has established a clear roadmap for the future of our bilateral relations,” Dr. Mudavadi said. “This framework provides a structured approach to enhance cooperation through focused and coordinated efforts.”
The meeting also saw the adoption of several instruments for signing during a state visit by the Kenyan President. These instruments are expected to further solidify cooperation between the two East and West African nations.
