Maseru, Lesotho – Former U.S. Ambassador to Lesotho Maria E. Brewer, in a heartfelt message to the Basotho people, announced their departure after a two-year term.
Ambassador Brewer expressed their deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve, calling it a “profound privilege” and a source of immense pride. They highlighted the collaborative efforts undertaken to solidify the strong bond between the United States and Lesotho.
Looking ahead, Ambassador Brewer expressed full confidence in Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Keisha Toms’ leadership. They believe that under Ms. Toms’ guidance, the U.S. Embassy team will continue to work towards achieving shared goals and building a brighter future for all Basotho.
