Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued a strong appeal for restraint today in the wake of recent developments that have heightened tensions in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed deep concern about the situation and called for all parties involved to de-escalate and avoid actions that could further destabilize the region.
“We urge all actors to exercise utmost restraint to prevent serious repercussions and a descent into further instability,” the MoFA statement declared.
The UAE emphasized the importance of peaceful resolutions through dialogue and diplomacy. They called for adherence to international law and the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter.
The MoFA urged the United Nations and its Security Council to take a more active role in addressing long-standing regional conflicts that pose a threat to global security and stability.
