Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Hang, concluded a three-day official visit to Ghana on Wednesday. The visit, which took place from April 15th to 17th, aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
During her visit, Minh Hang held discussions with her Ghanaian counterpart, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong. Ampratwum-Sarpong described the visit as a sign of the strong bond between Ghana and Vietnam. He expressed hope that the discussions would lead to increased collaboration in education, agriculture, and technical expertise exchange.
Minh Hang acknowledged the long-standing positive relationship between the two nations. She pointed out that next year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Ghana. Minh Hang also praised Ghana’s role on the United Nations Security Council and expressed Vietnam’s desire to further strengthen ties through collaborative frameworks in mutually beneficial areas.
