The 69th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China was massively celebrated by the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos recently. The event brought together eminent personalities including Diplomats, Politicians, business people and even Chinese living in Nigeria. As usual, it reinforced great networking and was an opportunity for sharing the Chinese culture. Some of the invited guests include Mrs. Adefunmilayo Tejousho, Chairperson, House Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Lagos State House of Assembly; Mr. Ibrahim Adamu, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, Lagos; Mr. Moses Akeke, Head of Protocol Department, Federal Airport Authorit of Nigeria (FAAN); Mr. Dong Rui’e, the Chairman of West Africa and Nigeria Overseas Chinese Joint Association; Mr. Lewis Tung, Chairman of Wempco Group; Ms. Poppy Ravhura, Consul (Political), South African Consulate General, Lagos; Mr. Simon Tumanggor, Deputy Director, Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre, Lagos and other guests.
