President Xi Jinping’s Remarks On China-Africa Ties

President Xi Jinping will chair the 2018 Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation scheduled to be held from Sept 3 to 4 in Beijing.

Themed on “China and Africa: Toward an Even Stronger Community with a Shared Future through Win-Win Cooperation,” the summit aims to build closer China-Africa community of shared future, further dovetail the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative with African development, set a new path for a higher level of China-Africa cooperation, and deepen people-to-people exchanges.

China will continue to uphold its African policy and concept of sincerity, concrete results, affinity and good faith, uphold justice and pursue shared interests, promote the construction of a closer China-Africa community with a shared future, so as to realize win-win cooperation and common development.
