Lysle S. Follette, IV, a 19-year-old baritone, has gained recognition in the music world. He currently performs with the Washington Adventist Pro Musica, led by Dr. Anwar Ottley, captivating audiences with his passion and skill.
Lysle’s musical journey started early. In second grade, he performed as a soloist in his school’s Christmas program. His talent led to international attention in 2015 when he was invited to sing at the General Conference session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in San Antonio, Texas. That same year, he recorded songs for the “Kids Time!” television program, still aired globally today.

His performances span from local stages in Washington, DC, to international venues. In sixth grade, Lysle toured Europe with the Jeremy Winston Chorale and the Central State University Choir. He has performed at major venues including Capital One Arena, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Mann Center, and the Schuster Center. Recently, he performed at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC, to honor 45 years of diplomatic ties between China and the United States.
In addition to his vocal work, Lysle has explored composition. One of his early pieces was performed by the two-time World Choir Games champion, Oakwood University Aeolians. Currently, Lysle is pursuing a degree in vocal performance at Washington Adventist University, where he continues to develop his talents and broaden his musical scope.
