Cairo, Egypt: High-level Pakistani and Egyptian diplomats met today in Cairo, reaffirming their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and trade spheres as the two countries celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations.
Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s Additional Foreign Secretary for the Middle East, and Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen, Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia, held fruitful discussions at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, exploring avenues to further strengthen the long-standing partnership.
The diplomats expressed mutual appreciation for the successful hosting of the 4th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference and Single Country Exhibition in Cairo. They agreed that the event served as a significant catalyst for enhancing economic ties between Pakistan and Egypt, as well as fostering broader trade partnerships with African nations.
