Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday met with visiting South Sudanese President Salva Kiir over expansion of bilateral relations in different fields, official WAM news agency reported.
Sheikh Mohamed, also Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces, discussed issues of common interest with Kiir, highlighting his country’s support for ensuring peace and stability in South Sudan.
Kiir hailed the UAE’s efforts to promote values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence among peoples of the world.
“South Sudan is keen on boosting friendly relations with the UAE, now a key world economic and trade hub,” the South Sudanese leader said.
