In a recent diplomatic engagement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Mr. Stefan Liller, the UNDP Country Representative, solidified a robust alliance with Bangladesh to confront pressing environmental concerns. This meeting arrives amidst global urgency for climate action.

Central to the discussions was the pursuit of resources to combat climate change and the promotion of sustainable development strategies. Bangladesh, a vocal advocate for climate justice, is actively seeking heightened international support for climate initiatives. Through this partnership, the goal is to unlock crucial funding and enhance resilience through collaborative efforts.

The partnership pledges to strengthen dialogue and cooperation on climate issues, with a specific focus on achieving sustainable development goals. Additionally, discussions addressed the vital need for cross-border collaboration to effectively address environmental challenges and advance a sustainable Blue Economy.
