Meridian Center for Cultural Diplomacy is bringing cultural diplomacy beyond Washington with its latest event, “Her Promise, Our Purpose.” This event is a pop-up mural photo exhibition that will take place on April 5, 2023, to celebrate the art of women’s health with Meridian.
The exhibition will showcase a collection of photographs featuring murals commissioned around the world by Organon, under the theme of “Her Promise, Our Purpose.” These murals represent the global efforts to strengthen care infrastructure and promote partnerships to expand access and improve the quality of care for women and girls around the world.
The event will also feature a vocal performance by Brinae Ali, a rising star in the music industry. Additionally, the program will include welcome remarks from The Honorable Alice Albright, Chief Executive Officer, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and The Honorable Marisa Lago, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade.
The event comes at an opportune time, following the announcement of the first-ever interagency Strategy to advance Women’s Economic Security by the U.S. Department of State in January 2023. It will also celebrate global efforts to strengthen care infrastructure and promote partnerships to expand access and improve the quality of care for women and girls around the world.
