Des Moines, Iowa – July 14, 2024 –The Jacobs-Abbey Global Institute for Leadership Studies (JAGILS) Executive Director, Dr. Samuel Jacobs-Abbey, received a prestigious Humanitarian Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday night in Des Moines, Iowa. The United Bong County Association in the Americas presented the honor for his lifelong dedication to leadership development, education, and untiring support for Bong County, Liberia.

Dr. Jacobs-Abbey’s achievements were further recognized with him being named an Honorary Citizen of Bong County. Additionally, he was bestowed the honorary title of Chief Kerkulah, signifying his stature as a strong leader who overcomes challenges.
