The Ghana Trade Fair Company is meeting one of its yearly statutory obligations by organizing the 2019 international trade exhibitions to facilitate local and international trade.
The fair will bring into focus participation of other foreign countries. Thereby, enhancing competition among both local and foreign manufacturers; it is also aimed at improving trade relations between local and foreign manufacturers.
The Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited has launched the 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair in Accra to be held at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre from the 28th of February to the 11th of March 2018 under the theme “Made in Ghana, Globally Accepted”.
The 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair will offer the opportunity for exhibitors to introduce their brands and products to emerging and existing companies currently enrolled in the 216-district industrialization programme and many others.
Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited, Dr Agnes Adu said the 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair will provide a platform for local and global companies to interact and network to form lasting partnerships.
She said the Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited has partnered with several institutions such as the One District One Factory secretariat and the Ghana at 60 Committee to make the 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair bigger than previous years.
Dr. Adu also announced that the Trade Fair Company Limited and the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the will embark on rebuilding the Trade Fair centre in the next few years.
She said the rebuilding of the facility is to help “make Ghana Trade Fair Centre the trade hub in West Africa and the preferred trading destination for our global partners”.
