King Mohammed VI Welcomes New Ambassadors to Morocco

On October 2, 2023, His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco hosted a grand ceremony at the Royal Palace in Rabat to welcome new ambassadors from 12 countries. The event marked a significant moment in Morocco’s diplomatic relations with countries worldwide, as the newly accredited ambassadors represent a diverse group of nations from near and far.

The list of esteemed ambassadors includes:

  • Jesper Kammersgaard, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark
  • Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer Mohammed Thani Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar
  • Mohamed Iliassa Yahaya, Ambassador of the Union of the Comoros
  • José Renato Salazar Acosta, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia
  • Mohamed Douhour Hersi, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti
  • Hideaki Kuramitsu, Ambassador of the Empire of Japan
  • Esayas Gotta Seifu, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
  • Robert Dölger, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany
  • Víctor Hugo Ramón Paniagua Fretes, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay
  • Salaad Ali Ibrahim, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia
  • Mouda Omar Hadj Attoum Al Badaoui, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan
  • Vladimir Baybakov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation
  • Tomás Antonio Guardia Williamson, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama
  • Namory Traore, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea

The ceremony was attended by Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, as well as the esteemed HM the King’s Chamberlain, Sidi Mohamed El Alaoui.
