Accomplished Lithuanian diplomat Jovita Neliupsiene officially assumed the position of European Union Ambassador to the United States on January 1, 2024. Neliupsiene’s extensive background in European affairs, trade, and international relations positions her as a seasoned leader equipped to navigate the complex dynamics of the EU-US partnership.
With a wealth of experience in both European and American priorities, Neliupsiene’s career trajectory exemplifies her deep understanding of diplomatic intricacies. She previously served as Lithuania’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, adeptly coordinating European affairs, bilateral and regional issues, and national sanctions.
