On December 17th, amidst a gathering of representatives from around 20 nations, Bangladeshi Ambassador Samina Naz officially commenced her diplomatic mission in Egypt by presenting her credentials to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
The ceremony, held at the Presidential Palace, saw Ambassador Naz escorted from Bangladesh House in a motorcade, reflecting the importance of the occasion. Upon arrival, she was received with a formal guard of honor and the playing of the Bangladeshi national anthem, adding to the solemnity of the event.
Following introductions and greetings, Ambassador Naz conveyed the warm regards of both the Bangladeshi President and Prime Minister to President Al-Sisi.

Expressing optimism for her tenure, she requested the Egyptian leader’s support and encouragement.
President Al-Sisi reciprocated by warmly welcoming Ambassador Naz and recognizing the strong bond between Bangladesh and Egypt.
He emphasized the importance of their relationship, referring to Bangladesh as a “sisterly country,” and expressed hope for further growth in bilateral cooperation.
This exchange marked a significant moment in the relationship between the two nations, signifying a commitment to continued collaboration and friendship.
