The Indian Ambassador to the United States, Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, met with the New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu at the State House to discuss potential areas of collaboration between India and the Granite State. The meeting focused on key sectors such as healthcare, renewables, technology, and education.

The healthcare sector presents an exciting opportunity for collaboration, with India’s highly skilled workforce and thriving medical tourism industry complementing New Hampshire’s strong tradition of healthcare innovation and research.

Additionally, renewable energy is an area where both countries can work together to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable development while India’s ambitious targets for solar and wind power align with New Hampshire’s progress in solar and hydroelectric power.
