The Nigerian business men and women and their Vietnamese counterparts recently met at the Nigeria Vietnam Trade and Investment Forum held at the Transcorp Hilton hotel, Abuja.
A high level delegation of Government officials and entrepreneurs led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were warmly received by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the representatives of Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The bilateral relations between Nigeria and Vietnam dates back to 2001 when the Federal Republic of Nigeria received a high-level delegation of Government officials led by Engineer Do Nhu Dinh, the Deputy Minister of Trade of the S.R. of Vietnam. This visit culminated in the signing of the “Trade Agreement between both countries.
