San Marino Diplomatic Meeting Prepares for EU Association

The San Marino Public Palace recently hosted a gathering of diplomats and consular representatives from across Italy and beyond. This annual event, organized jointly by the Secretariat of State and the Department of Foreign Affairs, drew a significant number of attendees, with some participating remotely.

The day began with an official audience granted by the Captains Regent, Alessandro Rossi and Milena Gasperoni. Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Luca Beccari, then addressed the group, focusing on San Marino’s upcoming Association Agreement with the European Union.

Beccari provided a comprehensive overview of the negotiation process, detailing the steps that led to this crucial moment. He outlined the next steps required to finalize the agreement and stressed the need for a robust implementation strategy.
