Yesterday, April 12, 2023, the honorable minister for women’s affairs, Dame Pauline Kedem Tallen, welcomed the Swedish Ambassador who paid her a formal visit in her office in the countries capital, Abuja.

Although the purpose for the visit was not made public, it is believed that it was motivated by the need to deepen relations and identify areas of mutual interest between the two nations, including women and children.

The Swedish Ambassador, Annika Hahn-Englund and the minister had a lengthy discussion on varying issues. After the meeting, she complimented Dame Tallen on her verified personal Twitter account and referred to their discussion as a “fruitful meeting on common priorities.”
