All roads seem to lead to the Landmark events center, Victoria Island Lagos as stockfish lovers, eaters and chefs converge because of the delicacy at the First Norwegian Seafood Festival.
The event is seen as the biggest and first ever seafood festival in recent times in Nigeria known to be one of the biggest markets of Norwegian Stockfish in the world,
Also stockfish chefs within Nigeria are competing for the best recipe at the event which started earlier today.
The show is organized by the Norwegian Seafood Council to pay tribute to a long tradition of export of stockfish to Nigeria aside from encouraging friendship between Norway and Nigeria.
The event which started at 10 am today 19 October 2018 plans to have corps of diplomats, exporters of seafood from Norway as well as experts in international culinary services.
Highlights include a prize giving moment for the best stockfish recipe from the competition to select the best stockfish chef in Nigeria.
