On Wednesday, U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh, Peter Haas, held a meeting with Bangladesh Foreign Secretary, Masud Bin Momen. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, as confirmed by a spokesperson representing the U.S. Embassy.

During the press briefing, the spokesperson mentioned that the two diplomats engaged in discussions covering a wide range of topics. Additionally, they interacted with various institutions, organizations, and individuals, representing diverse sectors. Some of the sectors included civil society and non-government organizations, media professionals, business leaders, chambers of commerce, political parties, academics and universities, government officials, cultural contributors, and educators.

The spokesperson emphasized that such meetings play a crucial role in strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing mutual understanding, specifically in the context of Bangladesh.
